The Multiple Listing Service sales report showed pending sales at 1,018 as of May 15, up 6.7 percent from mid-April. Active listings stood at 3,070, up 3.2 percent from a month earlier.
Other numbers of note:
- Average sales price for April was $309,527, up 1.1 percent from a year ago.
- Median sales price for April was $275,500, up 4.8 percent from a year ago.
- The average market time in April was 48 days, down 9.4 percent from a month earlier.
- There were 561 sales of units that were on the market for 30 days or less.
- At the upper end of the market, there were 141 sales of $500,000 or more, down 3.4 percent from a month earlier.
