Charles Gordon Hurt passed away peacefully on Nov.27, 2025.
An entrepreneur at heart, Charles built a name not only for himself but for his family. He owned Alta Vista Florist and Nursery for 15 years. He retired at 42, but after a couple of years he decided to get his real estate license and in 1980, he founded Real Estate Mart of Tennessee, followed by Chuck Hurt Enterprises and Chuck Hurt Construction Co. which continues to operate today, standing as living testaments to his vision, drive, and business acumen.
