Several MAAR members forwarded email messages to our team that appeared to come from MAAR. The content appeared to be a DocuSign agreement, prompting members to click a link. This message was spam, and if you received one, you should not open it or click any links within the email.
A few reminders about email security and messages from MAAR:
- MAAR will never send unexpected documents to members to sign. If you receive a message asking for your signature that you're not expecting, do not click any links and reach out to our team.
- Check the "from" email address if you're suspicious of an email. Sometimes, malicious actors use an alias name and an unusual email address to confuse recipients.
- MAAR regularly publishes spam alerts on our website, like this one. If you receive a suspicious email, check our website to see if a similar email has been reported.
