April is Fair Housing Month! With rising costs and cutthroat markets, Fair Housing is more important than ever. Join MAAR's Fair & Affordable Housing Committee as they identify and elaborate on Fair Housing practices, tips to keep you out of trouble, and more!

Attendees will also have the chance to hear from a panel of local community partners. They'll discuss how they're working toward fair housing and highlight some useful, potentially overlooked Fair Housing resources here in our own backyard. Our panelists include:

• Jeremy Less, Area Production Manager at Bancorpsouth
• Amelia Lovorn-Brown, Owner & Managing Partner at Mississippi Dirt LLC
• Wanda McDonald, Financial Wellbeing Coach at Operation HOPE
• Amy Schaftlein, Executive Director at United Housing, Inc.

Additionally, there will be resource tables throughout the Ed Center where you can speak with representatives from local organizations committed to Fair Housing.

Boxed lunches and beverages will be served. Admission is free to all, but we do ask that you register. It's going to be a great one. We'll see you there!
