The Diversity & Inclusion Committee Book Club has formed a book club to discuss real estate-related books with a special focus on diversity, equity and inclusion.

You're invited to join us for the final meeting discussing Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City by Matthew Desmond, winner of the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction¹.

The book is divided into three parts, bookended with a prologue and epilogue. At this meeting, the club will finish with Part Three: After (pp. 207–292) and Epilogue: Home and Hope (pp. 293–314), discussing the contents and wider implications of both as well as takeaways from the book as a whole and ways in which the events apply to and affect our own communities.
