The Diversity & Inclusion Committee Book Club has formed a book club to discuss real estate-related books with a special focus on diversity, equity and inclusion.

The club is in the midst of reading and discussing Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City by Matthew Desmond, winner of the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction¹. The book is divided into three parts, bookended with a prologue and epilogue. At this meeting, the club will continue with Part Two: Out (pp. 111–206) and discuss its contents and wider implications.
